Those are Houdaille shocks - common on early Fords. They are hydraulic, not friction.

No, you wouldn't. ;) Sucks they ruined a good wagon. Those are great cars. I drove a '93 Roadmaster Wagon for years, and also had a '96 Caprice Sedan. Last of their kind!

Yep, it's a '28-29 Murray. The easiest giveaway is the fuel tank. On a Ford-built Model A the tank is actually the cowl top. The Murray Fordor body actually mounted the Ford tank underneath the exterior sheet metal.

It is a '29. It's from a Fordor body that was built by Murray. They are similar to a '30-31 design, but slightly different. Look close. ;)
