    Traffic Pix

These were last summer. The pics with the blazer were me, but the similar combination was seen on the same journey. What are the odds?

    4wd s10 chassis for a 50s car?

Sorry for the wait, but the 2wd drive frame is at the back of my place and the 4wd frame is in my garage. In between is some wet clay that has to dry up some before I can drag them side by side and take pics. Will post as soon as it is dry enough.

    4wd s10 chassis for a 50s car?

I just started stripping a 89 S-10 4x4 to use on a 51 Chev pickup. Not sure the difference between 1st gen and 2nd but I most people had said to use the 1st gen. Should have it stripped by next week and will take some pics of it beside a stripped 2wd frame of the same generation. I know that...

    Filling oversize holes in firewall?

Savin Pennies Had to fix some old mirror holes in a door the other day. Princess Auto magnetic hooks from my wall along with a half dozen pennies seemed to work fine and made sense at the time. Instead of cutting little circles I just made some metal. Of course, after the magnets came off, I...

    Sandblasting Safety

U-blast places I have tried blasting a few things at home and end up making a lot of noise and dust for the neighbors and spend almost as long cleaning up after I am done as I did blasting. We have a sandblast supplier here in town that provides sandblaster sand and equipment including air...

    New Orleans Rod shop??

Going to New Orleans next month for St. Paddy's and was looking for a Rod Shop somewhat close to the tourist area to visit. Flying not driving. Found this one, looks kind of cool and close enough to get to. http://www.thebombfactorynola.com/index.html I want to maybe see some cars being worked...

Has anyone mounted relays in the front?

Here is the headlight relays I added to my 72 Blazer after the headlight switch melted. I put in the terminal, fuses, 90's Chev trouble light and relays on the inside of the fender. Not very neat but it's a driver and the hood usually is closed keeping critics out. In my defense the wiring was...

    Just saving time

I agree, so far the four rows are enough to do each of the sizes I have. I expect that the channel is cheap enough a guy could make as many rows as he wants or has space for so each size can be separate.

    Just saving time

For about a year, I have been looking at these brackets the previous owner put under a shelf in the garage wondering what it is for. Just light gauge square tubing with a notch taken out of it on the bottom. I think I figured it out and they works great. And whatever works great, saves time...

    Chev engine size?

Thanks for the help guys. The engine was transplanted into a 98 Chev pickup so the big brackets and such for the alternator etc have to be removed to see the numbers on the front. I will get to that in a couple weeks after I do some more body work on my 50.

    Chev engine size?

I just pulled an transplanted engine out of a truck for a future project. The casting numbers 3970010 K12 tell me that it is either a 327 or a 350. 1968 3970010 327 1969-79 3970010 350 So how do I narrow it down between the two??

    Hello from the Frozen North

The tarped car is a 90 300ZX right hand drive that the son in law is working on. Anyone want to buy it to get it out of my yard?? The 50s Ford project is a collection of a Merc cab and front clip and a Ford front clip and hood. And an S-10 frame. Probably do that one up as soon as the 4x4 is...

    Hello from the Frozen North

Just bumped into your site a couple days ago and joined up to look at the pictures and tech info. I live in Alberta Canada just outside of Calgary in a small town called Chestermere. I guess posting some pics of my rides might help you get to know me. Drivers: 71 Chev C-10 - my first one 72 Chev...
