    Came out of an intersection hard on the gas, and big cloud of smoke, half block later when I pulled onto a side street, hood was filled, etc. Turns out the tranny cooler line either was rubbing, or touched the hot on the starter and burned a pin hole through it, so it was spraying tranny fluid...

    how long for gas to get into tank?

    I have a '50 Dodge truck with fuel filler on side of cab, factory pipe so maybe 2', with a 90 degree into a tanks unlimited 16 gallon tank. The question/problem was it ran out of gas early after 111 miles, but can go to 160, but I dragged a few people so did have my foot in the tank a few times...

    welding gas in Vancouver

    Is there any decent gas suppliers open on a Saturday in Vancouver? KMS tools sucks, tired of no service and getting either leaky tanks or empty tanks on there exchange. Might have to start taking Friday afternoon's off to go to Air Liquide.

    flex hose comes off

    I used flex rad hose on both the upper and lower on a SBC chevy to a KMJ aluminum rad, but have had problems with the rubber and chrome parts seperating over time. Over 600 miles of driving and they either pop apart or have travel back close to coming off. Wondering if there is too much frame...
