Build is going strong again ! Haven't had much time the last year or so but I decided this spring to get on the last 10% and get it finished. The toughest part of any project always seems to be the last few ugly details....:)

So the serial number on my 41 Chevy pick up is a lot shorter that's the others I've seen....could this be truck #7 to roll off the Canadian assembly line ? Looks like model 1314, body serial 8, then 0007 ? [S

Go for it ! I bought a 1990 S10 for $900. V6,5 speed truck. It had all new brakes, wheel bearings, battery and a few other things I could use. So far I've got $600 of it back from selling parts I don't need.....plus parts are dirt cheap on the S10s if anything needs to be replaced.

Build away ! Looks like a great starting point, and what a classy looking old truck !

I'm looking forward to seeing those wheels and tires on that thing ! I'm just south of Calgary, doing a similar build - 1941 Chevy on a 1990 S15 chassis. Not quite as far along, I'm just trying to cram a radiator in around that steering box too ! [;)
