    Body welting

Whoa .... Is it really that difficult or time consuming? I'm not afraid to spend the time, and I want to do it right, so guess I'll be leather welting.

    Body welting

Anyone have a suggestion as to what they feel is the best material to use as welting on my T Bucket? I've been told to use rubber pads, seat belt material or leather. Not sure about any of those! Got any ideas to share?

Oh gosh donsrod, laughed pretty good on that one! I'd rather be safe than sorry, but I guess it may not be as big of a problem as I'm thinking! Gonna plumb one up and ride!

    Trans cooler

Ok guys, here goes! I'm looking to mount a remote trans cooler inside my frame below the floor. Glassed in floor in my T bucket. I know they work good while running, but I'm concerned about when I stop and park. I know it will radiate heat, and being just inches below the floor, am I flirting...

    T-Bucket door

Ron, good pics of what you did and I like the idea of attaching the hinges before cutting the door out. How much reinforcement did you end up doing on the door panel? And do you see any additional flexing in the door area?

    T-Bucket door

Hey guys, I got great info on channeling my bucket and glassing in the floor, but now I'm looking to cut a door in the passenger side. Care to share any tips, tricks or secrets? I didn't know I would be cutting in a door when I installed the wood, so it wasn't placed in the most convenient...

    channelling a T-Bucket

Panty hose huh? Garage door will be down for that! I'll assume you wore a dust mask when you were grinding. But what about your eyes? Safety glasses won't eke the dust fibers out. Did you wear some sort of goggles?

    channelling a T-Bucket

Don, in your process of glassing in the floor, do you do anything about the gap you leave between the floorboard and the body? Wondering if the resin fills this void, or if you fill it with bondo (or equivalent) body filler material? I get the idea of "shadowing", but am just a wee bit...

    channelling a T-Bucket

Don, did you use any Loc-Tite on the bolts? And did you take that extra steel plate and rubber gasket thickness into consideration when you channelled your body?

    channelling a T-Bucket

Definately don't want the body going anywhere! Seeing that picture makes me wonder about seatbelts? Any thoughts on those? Anchor them to the floor or to the frame? Frame seems like a stronger connection, but wouldn't want to get pinched in half if the body lets go and moves forward! Are you...
