    Firewall/toe board

That makes sense. It’s coming along slowly but surely. List is getting shorter, but it’s still too long.

    Firewall/toe board

Is there a reason that firewall/toe boards (best description I could find) angle back toward the cab vs just being squared? I can’t see how it really effects pedal function or anything… maybe it does. Just ergonomics, idk. I’d love to hear opinions/answers. Thanks

    Radiator mount

Started playing around with stuff laying around and I think I have an idea to make it work. Round bar with a couple bends, flatten the ends and drill a couple holes. This along with an L bracket at the bottom should (I hope) be strong enough to support everything. Thanks for the input!

    Radiator mount

ZZ, I didn’t feel like that was going to be enough support for the top of the radiator, but sounds like it may be then. Thanks

    Radiator mount

Hey guys, Trying to get this radiator mounted securely without a ton of brackets so I can still fit the headlights in. Driving myself crazy and doubting everything I come up with. Could you please give and thoughts and advise on this idea… thanks!

    Rat Rod of the Day!

This was taken this past weekend at the Rockabilly Bash in AZ. Lots of cool stuff to see there. Great way to get motivated to finish your build too...

You all make some good points, thanks for the input. I guess it's back to my original plan and I'll just have to make it work.

    Front 4 link question

So I’m trying to finish up the rolling chassis on my 33 Chevy. I have the rear 4 link and bags set up and want to stay similar in the front. I was thinking of using these type (attached pic) of brackets in 3/8 thickness with Clevis ends in the front of the rods on the axle and heims in the rear...

    Bolting Heims to frame

Sounds good, thanks guys. Think I will go ahead and slug it and bolt through the frame.

    Bolting Heims to frame

How are you guys doing it? When bolting a Heim joint or other rod ends to the frame are you welding a nut to/in the frame to screw in to? I don’t have a whole lot of room between the frame and outer edge of front axle so can’t really do a bracket. Going to be a 4 bar set up. Pics please if you...

    4bar radius rods

Sorry, the terminology screws me up sometimes *♂️ Was planning on doing similar setup (different frame mount) as the rear. Brackets on the tube axle for forward mount of 4 bar setup and mount to side of frame at Z. Do the bars need to be equal length or can the...

    4bar radius rods

Haven’t seen many of em up front. Any issues with it? Planning on a tube axle with air bags and disc brakes. Heard buzz about not using wishbone style rods with tube axles. Was thinking some bat wings, 4bars and a panhard would be good? Any input, advise appreciated.

    Quick 4-link question

Despite staring at it for countless hours and my best planning, my parallel 4-link bars ended up right about 5* downward angle to the front (1.5" overall). I don't have any adjustment other than moving the front brackets. I've seen other builds with way more angle than this, but was under the...

    Shock angle opinions

Hey guys, looking for opinions/advise on rear axle shock angle/direction. I've seen them angled forward, backwards, side to side and straight up and down. So how much of a difference does it make, is there a 'wrong way', and are there different situations that call for different shock mounting...
