The dash is from a 30 Chevy. I bought it from a guy about 20 years ago. I always thought it looked cool. It red primer and real rust. Sanded with 400 and clear coated. This next week I will get everything hooked up and working. I built a battery tray out of L metal. It is under the cowl behind...

Got the gas tank finished. New in tank pump. New lines. About 85 pounds. Installed a regulator that sends fuel back to the tank. The regulator is showing about 5 pounds to the holley carb. Started it up no leaks, ran great. Next time I will start it in park. Haha. Finally finished the bed wood...

Got the ten coats done on the back panels. Body worked and painted the frame covers, grill shell, and one fender painted. The paint I am using is urethane industrial paint. It's cheap and gets very hard. I just have 4 doors to varnish and 3 fenders to paint. I can hardly wait to drive this thing

    1930 Ford Woodie

Well its Friday. Just put the third coat on the inside of the two rear quarters. It takes about seven coats on the inside and ten on the outside. So long way to go. I have a lot to do before these can be installed. Fuel lines, rear electrical, brake. I could install after but it's easier before...

When you varnish a woodie it is a long process. Today is the 5th of 10 coats on the inside roof. I know this is a rust page but it is also a building a car or truck of your own creation. Thank you all for watching and posting.
