The Jag is out. Someone decided to buy just the fuel injectors since i was there last. Don't want to have to worry about water damage. 1992 Chrysler 318. That would be worse than the strange and unusual.

Pics will come when I get a little further along. No floor, sitting on jackstands, and in the early stages of a channeling job is nothing to start a pics thread about.

I do have a stock 5.2L with its trans, wiring harness, and ecu. :D

I'm still in the process of replacing the wood in the 36, but the snow free weather in Northern Utah has me still looking at junkyard parts. It will still be awhile before I *need* an engine, but these are what I am thinking, and I am wanting some opinions. I know how sacrilegious it would be...

I've been eyeing an Ecotec drivetrain when I get (much) further along. Was kicking back with a junkyard friend tonight, we were talking, and it appears the Solstice, Colorado (?) and a pre-00 Isuzu will work. Since I'm not near that far, and I know there will be Ecotecs around, I didn't pursue...

Except for the hour wait at the DMV, that was surprisingly easy. I have the new VIN, it just needs to be attached it to the car, and then inspected by someone more important than myself. Once that is done, I'll have a title. Not bad for no title/no VIN.

Got all the paperwork, now to visit the DMV. I am titling a car with no VIN or title, wish me luck! It ended up costing me the time to do some insufficient evidence of ownership paperwork on a different car for the guy I got it from. He claims that with this paperwork, he will move quicker on...

OK, I looked between the battery box and the firewall. I'll go look at it again. It does have it's engine to, I'll see what I can find there.

I've already found that link, thanks. Would the underhood tag help at all? With a missing VIN, I only get one chance to title it correctly. Underhood: Style: 36-1211 Body:0 6569? Trim: 50 Paint: 107 The style number is part of the reason I was thinking it is a 36.

The doors do need a little bit of work, but look good for their age. The right door has some rust near the back, and the left door looks like it had its hinge forcefully removed. Both are nothing serious that a little bit of patching wouldn't fix. Even with the old wood, and what it will take...

And with the door comment, I will now look for signs of an accident. I noticed they seemed to have aged different than the body. It's front fenders are nearby, and they look like the doors. BTW, its free.

I know it's a Chevy. Everything I can find online says its a `36, but the owner says it's a `35. What is left of the headlight buckets mount to the grille shell, but the shell might not be original.
