x2 on the roof lights. I like them, as well as what they symbolized. Your builds are inspiring and well documented. Cool video of a cool truck.

    ‘35 Plymouth

No confusion here. That would make sense especially had I bought the two ‘34 doors I seen for sale last summer. I knew I should have scooped them up. The ‘56 Ford is one of nine and amongst those are three two doors. Unfortunately they don’t belong to me, they belong to the fella I purchased...

Good to hear the opinions. I kinda like small foots rendering too but I’m not sure I can like the “pt cruiser” look about the sedan, panel or original. All I see it PT cruiser. Here’s a pic of a coupe, actually I’ll post a few I borrowed off the net. These are the vision, I’m thinking I’m...

Thanks doc, now thats crafty looking. I did do some research and realized that both “donor” cars are in fact completely different from the ‘35 or quite a bit anyways. I was thinking I would be able to get close. Frankenstein close is fine by me. Now you have me thinking. Thanks for the vision...

    28 Fast Four build

Man I wish I was going to be around. Running back to Saskatoon. Found a decent gig up there and going to make the move. I’ll be back in Speedy creek this coming weekend though if you decide to make the trip in, let me know.

I agree with most of your points Skip. Sending the sedan butt may be a costly venture from Canada so I’ll hold onto it, maybe build something out of it. I did happen to pick up a few other cars in the last year. A ‘37 Chrysler and what I figure is the rear half of a ‘34 Plymouth. I bought...

Did a quick build yesterday. Despite modern day technology I deferred to using an older method of photoshop. I took a picture, printed it onto paper and got out the scissors and tape. I call it photo chop. Perhaps I’m slower than most in this age of 3D printing technology or a photoshop program...

    1965 Fargo 100

Cool project dozer. Are there plans to paint it or is it going to remain as is? From here the body looks to be in pretty good shape, paint included. Looking forward to see how this one turns out regardless.

    28 Fast Four build

Looking good Dozer. A friend of mine stopped by yesterday and everytime he does the wheels start turning and I nudge the idea that he should start a project. Well yesterday he was going on about wanting to find one of them “long” cars so I pulled up your build here and he says that’s it, just...

'39 dodge truck powered by a 6.7 cummins

Half the fun is sharing what we have done. The pictures help tell the story and without them this thread is pretty much useless. I still have all the pictures so I guess one day I might have to go back and down load them direct. Recently I seen a book made by a family member with pictures from...

Ok, so I guess I wasn't quite ready to be around and decided to crawl back under that rock. Well I finally got after it and got this some brakes and steering. Kind of kicking myself with the stall and how close to this moment I was. All I really had was to run brake lines and mount the steering...

    1931 Chevy 4door into pickup.

Looking real good. We must have the same tape measure as it doesn't seem to matter how many times I measure. I've come to accept it. Cool idea with the box and the air scoops for the rad. I'm liking those tires, what size are they? They look tall from here and look good [dr

Looks good and I bet it sounds alot better with the head liner and the new gears. I'm liking the warm weather lately but it's messing with my work schedule so I've made it home one day each of the past two weekends. I've pushed my project back over to the centre of my garage now and did some...

if you heated up the bottom piece of angle iron maybe you could bend it to fit the curve of the cowl. Of course you would need more angle iron to do that. Just wondering if that would work or not.
