    I know there a lot of conversion kits out there but i am wondering if any one has made one there self's for less then 350$, i have seen some threads on people doing it to newer Chevy and am just trying to see if any one has any info?

    So I am in the process of making this truck into a rat rod and the front end looks pretty beat up I was wondering if any one had some suggestions on what I could do to improve or rebuild it? With out changing the whole front end.

    Auto, 3 or 4 speed 4 speed would be better but either would do.

    I have a 3970010 350 and I have know idea what transmission I can use that will work for my motor. I am putting it in a 1950 chevy rat truck I would like something better for speed I do t really need the low end torque. Does any one have some ideas of some transmissions?
