Get the Olds motor. Way cooler than the Chevy engines and really stout power producers. A couple of mods and you have a really sweet engine. A buddy had one in a '69 Cutlass and it was a very reliable engine. I laughed at the Yugo comment. If I had a Yugo, I'd trade it for a 5th of Jack...

Very very well made engines. I wasn't in anyway going to put anything other than Mopar power in my '41. Proven workhorse to. My friend got rid of his van with 341,000 miles on it. Like any other 318, I've owned, it has never ran hot or gave me any major issues at all. I'm waiting to get this...

This IMO, is one the best engines made. Extremely durable. The one thing that nobody really mentions is the AWESOME amount of torque these engines put out. The 70 500 was 400 horsepower and 500 foot pounds of torque. In a lighter vehicle, it is a pretty good package. A local guy put a 1970 500...

Here is a differential swap that fits right onto the stock leaf springs on a '39-47 Dodge truck. '72-'80 2wd Dodge d100/d150 1/2 ton. Get some U bolts and shock mounts from the rear then call it a day!

The one from the first film appeared to have a 392 Hemi from the placement of the distributor. All the ones used in later F&F movies used a SBC...LAME. Small block Chevy in a Charger. I'm going to throw up now...
