I agree that hobart is a nice unit I fired a new one up for a friend that was learning to weld for the first time and he built a whole pipe coral set up Ed he got it at Harbor Freight. ED

I picked up a tank and an old caddy airbag compressor, but was thinking why not get a cheap 110 volt compressor reg and shut off and run it off an inverter 12v to 110 volt these small air compressors draw under 3 amps as advertized.

Ford F6 with original tranny and 350 sbc I have this set up in one of my trrucks, what I can't understand is it looks like it takes a ford starter to trurn over this engine. any Idea how all this works. thanks ED

we ran a piece of 4" tubing on the inside of the wheel well for a better effect. this is not the finished job. did a little body work and finnish sanding Ed

another part of this issue and I found it on my 72 el camino was the shock mounts are not designed to handle this load over any lenth of time.!! The guy I got the truck from used them to haul dirt bikes and ripped out the supports in the frame. Ed
