Find a 36 inch front spring.?

They make that spring to fit a 35 to 40 ford with split bones, using the factory setup with the spring in front of the axle. Its too short to work on the 35-40 with an unsplit wishbone. None of that matters anyway, like you said, the spring dont care what you mount it to. This guy was needing a...

Find a 36 inch front spring.?

Sorry, i gave you the wrong part number, it should be 58020374L. Its for a 35-40 ford using split wishbones, but the specific application doesnt really matter, if you need a 36 inch spring it should work.

    Mounting front spring to wishbones

Ive seen alot of guys that have their front spring mounted to their wishbones and im wanting to do the same thing on my truck. My question is, when the bones are at an angle from where they mount to the axle in the front, back to where they mount to the frame, does it put the spring pivot and...

    1/4 elliptical springs

I was talkin to a buddy of mine that has a plasma cutter and he thinks he might be able to get a hole cut through a spring with that, at least a decent enough hole that you could run a drillbit through it and clean it up, and maybe keep from wearing out a few of those drill bits. Anybody ever...

    1/4 elliptical springs

ouh506- What did you use to cut those springs with? would a chop saw do it? Im lookin to use the same type setup on the front of mine but i thought i might have to take them somewhere and pay somebody to cut em 4 me. Was there a special kind of drillbit you had to use to drill em with?
