    Wood or steel floors?

I did wood floors in the trunk and seat area in the `29 last winter and it has worked out well. Going to do the same thing in the new `36 truck project

    1936 tudor slantback build ideas

Not a `36 but close enough to get the idea. It`s all in the stance and wheel/tire combo. This one rides on Heidt front and Chassis Engineering rear with 355/700R4/8"rear. Gets 22 mpg on the highway. Nice start you have there. Good luck.

Fast and Loud, I had to laugh!

I ran into Chip at the NSRA swap last year in L`ville. We were looking through some parts on a table and I noticed it was Chip so I said hi, how`s it going and he started telling me about this wooden workbench his dad had given him and how he was looking for vintage tools to display under it...

    Tube front axles safe?

I`ve always heard the rule is 4 bar w/tube or hairpin w/beam axle. It has to do with the ability of the axle types to flex.

    Dream Muscle Car?

Always loved Camaros so I built a couple but sold both to buy land and build a house. 15 years later I`m able to buy both back within a few months of each other. What`s the chances of that happening? `68 RS/SS L78 big block prostreet and `68 RS small block

    68 pro street

Yeah, sold it in 1991 and bought it back sixteen years later. Don`t know why....Seemed like a good idea. The guy had stored it and never titled it in his name. Strange. It was on the cover of HotRod sept `88 It`s still fun. Nothing like a big motor/big tire noisy car to grab attention. Right...

    68 pro street

Nice car. Still have mine from the `80`s. Old Hot Rod cover car back when pastels were the rage. Original L78 Big Block RS/SS w/39,000 miles on it.

I Made A Car Trade (pics)

I don`t blame you for trading. I am getting to the point of being overwhelmed by my project cars. Two is too many now. Just took a `35 Slantback 2dr in on trade for my stock `32 5w. It`s a lot roomier than the 5 window and goes faster than 50mph. Couldn`t say no and I might be spoiled by the...

    rioting and looting in London

New Orleans was a perfect example of low lifes and minorities thinking only of the opportunity to loot and burn everything around them. Should have shot `em on sight and saved ourselves a lot of money in assistance after the fact. I still think about all of the bull s#*T that was allowed to...

small block chevy's//love'em or hate'em? good-guys car show observation.

Nobody bitches about how many `32`s are at every show. They seem really "popular" At Goodguys Columbus you could jump from roof to roof on `32 Fords without touching the ground it seemed....and I still want one. As far as valve cover changing, I don`t mind as some olds/y-block covers are just...

Seperate small garage for yard equipment. No pool and no kids so cuts down on the clutter.

Garage art? Have you built anything?

yard art count? Welded up the extra parts and used a manure spreader axle/wheels for running gear. 4x6 treated beam for frame rails. At least no one has bugged me to buy this one out of the field.

Sorry about the O/T but dig this incredible RC Chopper pilot!

Desert Aircraft 150cc Twin w/ electronic ignition right at 16 hp. Plane weighs 40# and has enough power to hang on the prop vertically. Unfortunately I drove that one in the ground in South Carolina last year... Not good at $8000 a copy and no insurance for dumba*# pilot. Here`s another one of...

Sorry about the O/T but dig this incredible RC Chopper pilot!

Some of the RC stuff is amazing. I`ve been involved in giant scale aerobatics for several years and still learn something new every time I fly. Took up helis and promptly found out my reaction time wasn`t quick enough to do 3D flight. That`s when the aircraft is fully stalled during the...

What does your garadge look like

The newer 30x40 garage was built by German Baptists that showed up at 7 AM and handed me the key to the front door at 2:45 PM. I was amazed what seven guys could do working in unison. I told them so and one of them said" These little buildings go very quickly. We spend as much as three days on...
