Need some help trying to determine why my Hobart wire welder shorts out the wire feed at the alignment rollers inside the case when its plugged in. The problem all started when I noticed a humming noise when I plugged it in, and when I put the welding tip close to the metal it would arc without...

You're on the right track with the bracing, and the suicide doors. IMO, I wouldn't chop the top, the lines of the ole body just seem to look good as is. Oh well you know about opinions, everybody has on, but it's your build. Looking forward to more build pics and commentary..[PY You can check...
