I got real lucky! I was worried about the whole thing but the lady that hit me had Travelers Insurance and they were awesome! They took pictures and showed it to a couple people around town to find out how much it was worth. I didn't have any receipts and I didn't have to argue for anything...

Oh yeah! Upgrades are a coming, plus some work on the other projects. This is actually just an excuse to park the 64 and do the stuff that I've been wanting to do to it.

Yeah, I've been working on the bike in all my spare time. Which isn't much with grad school and work. Now that the bike's painted, i've been informed that it's done and need to start wrenching on the 52 again. :D

It's ALIVE!!!! She fired on the first try. I need to rejet the carbs for the exhaust and pod filters, but she runs. :)

Still rollin the 64 impala day in and day out

Well the wiring turned out to be easier than I thought. Everything is ran except for 2 wires that are the wrong color as the diagram. I'll just have to try starting it and see which one goes where. Got the ignition box mounted and added an old bottle opener to the neck. Also I got my wheels...

Nice looking bike. I just saw a sissy bar like that in this shop near me. I thought it was a cool piece and now that I've seen it on the bike, I really think so.

Ha ha yep! I've gotta get back on 2 wheels! [ddd

Yeah none of my buddies fit on it. The seat is really low but with the bars they have to stretch forward. I'm 6'3" and it fits me perfect :D

Oh and I dropped off the wheels to get the tires mounted and balanced. The tires I got are from the 70's!! They are actually older than me, but still in good condition. And I ordered the long ass chain.

Umm the charging system on this thing is weird. Think I have most of the wiring figured out, but not completely. Hope it doesn't burn down

Here's the bars after completed and some pics of the bike as she's sitting right now. It's been raining all morning, but it looks like it is passing. So now it's time to get out there and wire this beast. She's so close I can taste the road. Now if only I can keep 16 year olds from running...

Here's a pic of the rear exhaust mounts. I used these cutouts of mermaids that are really close to my tattoo on my left arm. Something different and personal. This is when I had the bike apart for an application of black paint.

Here's a pic of the pipes that I picked up from Gordon Scott. They fit and look awesome and I bet they are gonna sound freaking sweet!

I've always thought that fake oil tanks looked a little hokey. So instead of making one, I mounted my dual 12v automotive coils there. I think they look all high performance hanging there.
