Back on it today got it into square and fit the doors again. Back on the chassis for a bit. Also a picture of current drag car runs 10.06 in the quarter. would like the new truck to get chassis cert. for 8.50

Working on frame put in some mounts for hairpins thinking about steering arms and front coil over mounts. Frame will most likely have to be cut in the front for clearance. Also not satisfied withe rear frame clip going to start over on that tonight. what is there will be throw on the pile for a later date.

Made up new rails start to work on crossmembers tomorrow. power is out but still working on it.

Moved it out to the alignment rack putting in crossmembers and squaring it up. much happier with it.

Hoping it can get into the high 9 second in 1/4, and get 8.50 cert. Back panel problem can not get it to relax. Tried lots of stuff but untimely ended up calling a buddy of mine who is a sheet metal expert and bam all fixed, redefined all the beads and lines nice and flat now.

steering arms came in so whipped up a tie rod, work will slow on this project summer racing and busy season at the shop.

Looking good!!! If you're gonna drag it, have you considered using fish plates on your frame joints?

Probably no fish plates the plan is for a 12 point cage, and also try to reinforce the seems with other parts of the car, as shown. Still working on my tig skills. i feel the welds are strong one draw back is using a trigger instead of a pedal so stops and starts are not as clean.
