303/324 olds trans adapt.

Im looking for anyone that has done a turbo 350 and or a t-5 5 speed with a 303 or 324 in a 40 gm car I have the motor and have a connection to buy ether a adaptor for a old ford trans or a aluminum bellhousing type for a ford manual. my car has a running flat 6 with a 3 speed will the flywheel and clutch work with the 303/324 are there any doos or dont's that I should know?

Don't plan on the 6 stuff working. I think 50 was the only year they had a normal bell housing as far as stock goes. There are adapter or aftermatket bellhousings to fit them. McCleod makes an adapter to mate any engine to any transmission, read about it in HoRod mag a couple years ago and that's all I know. I see flywheels on ebay from time to time.

Also, you might want to check with Wilcap for adapters and advice. They have been making adapters for quite a while.
