Drove ( 2 hours) over to East Carbon, Utah. The Bo Huff show was an unusual car show to say the least. Lots of cool cars no doubt, there was one muscle car, a bunch of lead sleds, and 40 RATS. I checked in and on the form there was a "class" question. I said what classes do you have.
Stock, custom, and extreme custom. I just left that one blank. I hate being questioned about how much class I have.
Anyway I showed you the vw because it was a stand out, Here is another. We could play, "Name that top".

Gold rush

My favorite straight axle of the show.

Man that's a ratty one for sure. But I would surmize that it's roof is actually a hood. Possibly from a GMC truck, but that's just a guess.

That straight axle A coupe is real nice. I like the radiator in the trunk with the front left open like that. Lots of cool details. I wish he would have went with an altered, rather than a gas, class designation on the sides though. Gassers were required to have front sheetmetal. Did you get any interior shots. That car really has a nice look to it. A "W" motor too, niiiiice.

Here is another vehicle of interest. Some cool ideas here. But really mixed on the quality of work, some was really good, like the bone hand shifter, but the frame had some nasty looking welds, and the steering arm was made by curving a chunk of round bar around, and welding a flat plate on top of that.

Here are the last of them. There were at least 5 pinstrippers there, and all of them were busy. There are a lot more pictures but this is the cream.
