Motor length

Hoping to find the length of Ford flathead v8 engine. Length from fan in the front to back of engine. Width too if you have an engine you could measure. Trying to find engine close to that length for a 36 Ford pickup frame. Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to cut the firewall.
