Welcome from Central Texas, Love the fairlane my dad had a 57 or 58 hard top convertable when i was a kid. what part of Texas you from?

Thanks guys, Im down here on the northside of Houston.

Details on the truck,
1956 Dodce c3 pickup, base model with no options from the factory, Got the truck in 07 as a parts truck off a junkyard that it was going to be scrapped and crushed, I had another truck that was given to me another 56 that I had gotten 1 yr prior that had been hit hard in drivers front, I bought this as a parts truck but was too nice so Built her and sold the other one. Has a 3" drop axle from Sid up in oklahoma, Made my own disc brake conversion on the front, leafs removed, 67 dodge charger rear end with a 2.80 something gear, picked up the torque thrusts from a friend at discount tire who said they had some at their warehouse that someone didnt pickup so I got them for 50 bucks a piece, have a schlitz beer keg thats been on about 5 or 10 hotrods over the years, Been sold for 40 bucks each time and will be sold for 40 bucks when I do decided to change it out, motor is a 69 coronet 318 that I ran stock up until earlier this year, was a 2 barrel with points etc, got 3 yrs out of the gal before she had any issues, was a stock 69 block never been opened up so decided to give her some fresh start so put a 4 barrel and cam and head work and electronic ignition and she deff has more punch now. Shaved firewall, and custom trans tunnel, and a few pics of my 60 cushman chopper I haul around w it..

Thanks... few more pics of the car on its way to where it is today.

still working on it thought

Story behind this car, he got in an accident when he was 20 in a 2dr fairlane, drunk driver crossed the line and put the front end at the firewall, almost killed my dad, he was a week away from putting paint on it and making it what he wanted, this is another car I found about 5 or 6 yrs ago and started building it last year, very rough and so many holes the pope couldnt even be this holy...
late model 302 out of my moms old car a 91 lincoln mark 7, Aod trans etc. Converted it to carb etc, just a good driver.
