New guy from NC

Hey I am fairly new to rat rods but i have been around cars my whole life. My dad is a master fabricator and my grandfather was a mechanic who owned his own shop. I never really had a vehicle that i could tear into and teach myself until now. My dad gave me a 61 Ranchero that I drug out the weeds at his house. I been working on it for a a few months.

I am planning on going to Nascar tech ASAp and getting into mechanics as a career. Not really planning on a racing job but I want the knowledge to bring into my shop. I plan on trying to work for a dealer, UTI seems to place there students a majority of the time. I look forward to all the reading all the threads I can and learning as much as possible from you guys. Not a great pic but heres my ride. [ddev
