using a cheater bar and my little electric impact driver makes the lugnut much less work.
pops has an air wrench so these muthas were tight!

You may already know this. The lugs on a Ram3500 are supposed to be torqued to 140#

i just slept for almost 15 hours
i wanted to get up early because i have a buncha stuff to do before 730am
well i did that alright.
woke up at 3am
pops is comin over to move this thing at 730

I went up to help Billy get his fifth wheel out yesterday.
When I got up there I thought to myself I didn't know how
I got that thing in there.

That little lot was 40'x60' fenced with the gate in the center
of the long side. The fifth wheel is 28.5 and my Dodge is a 4 door
long bed.

I did get it out and pointed in the right direction for him to hook up
and go this AM.

Hope you made the trip with out any trouble.

update
i took my time and took a route that bypassed all the cities
i went through grasslands N.P. and followed the santa fe trail for miles
because i only went 50-55mph almost the entire way
i ended up getting 13mpg!
thats pretty cottin pickin good for this big truck and a 28 foot trailer.

i sure like this pick-em-up[cl

Every square inch of this place is green.
I walked out side barefoot for the first time in .....well for the first time before I moved to the desert.
I am not knocking my buddies that live there
But I hated most of new Mexico.
No wonder they test nuclear weapons there.

i dont particularly LIKE towing.
but if i am going to have to.
it sure is nice to have a big,comfy very powerful truck that was invented for it.
towing is what this truck was built for.
at no point on any grade did this truck not have power to spare.
and as far as going down hill
use the appropriate gear and you dont need the brakes.
six speed sticks are a PITA in traffic
but they sure are nice for the long haul
