I am well beyond riding a bicycle, my friend, let alone naked. And I am sure our hot rods will not be pried from our cold hands. But one day, after we are long gone, the market, and consumer preferences, will relegate our hot rods to the museums, and folks will wonder at how people got from point A to point B back in the days of yor. And some group of maniacs will be figuring out ways to make their electric (or what ever new means of propulsion is current) power plants eek out a few more horses to go a couple seconds faster. Its just the way we humans are. We hate change, and we love changin' stuff.Horses and buggies were not mandated out of use. In fact, they are still in use.
You can drive an electric car. I can drive an electric car. You and I can also drive gas powered cars, if we prefer. You can walk. You can ride in the annual nude bicycle parade. Just don't mandate that I can only drive an electric car. Or that I can only drive my hot rod on a closed course for 2 hours twice a year.
dang skip, I like that. we hate change, but love changing stuff!
bob w, I agree with you on both counts, good Sir.Well said, young man.
Skip, it's about freedom, not what type of fuel you use.
