I've bought a '37 Ford axle "on Ebay" that has been rebuilt with C10 disks and calipers
I can't find another early rod out there that is using this later axle
My question is
Is this because of the spring being mounted out the front? [S[S
This axle doesn't seem very popular on ratrods
If anyone is running one I really would like to see some pictures

thanks Phil

The spring out front is one issue, if you use it like it comes the wheelbase is shortened by aboout 6 inches. You can run one of the specialty springs that allow you to run the spring on top of the axle, or behind, but you have to cut off the spring mounts off of the wishbones and use perches or batwings to make it work.

So it can be done.
