Thanks guys! I still have a few ideas I need to work out but overall I'm pretty happy with the stance. I want it to look cartoony but at the same time have try and convince people that maybe stepside duallies were an option in 49... Some of you guys have really raised the bar with your builds on this site and to have you like the work I have done so far really means a lot! Thanks again!

My vision finally within reach...
The to-do list is down to
build tailgate
front end alignment
replace windshield
wipers
and someday...
I'd like to swap in a zf-5 trans

Sorry I haven't been on much. The bike in the back is an 81 Honda cb750 (The Mouthy Bitch)... slightly customized by me... but I can't take credit for the backward D... it was like that when I bought the old truck. I ended up going with a little taller tire in front and I think it looks much better. Sadly the add-on heater I bought for a dollar at a farm auction has a leaky heater core so no heat yet... and it's be cold here so not too many miles on her yet. I've yet to even attempt to get the vacuum wipers to work. Here's a few more pictures. Comments are always appreciated... although sometime I'm slow to reply. ENJOY!

A few more updates
I took the original 'oil bath' air cleaner, gutted it and welded on a couple of snorkles to mount cone air filters.
I wasn't happy with the exhaust the way it was so I came up with these huge 'cartoonish' side pipes.
The last pictures are of a little bit of filler just because...
