Well bob I'm with you, body tilt is right on. Sure would like to make some passes down Famoso Drag Strip at our home track in Bakersfield, CA. I know, just send cash & it could be mine. That ride would get some attention from the West Coast ANRA group.

If it ever hooks, he might. As light as it is, I figure it will be hard to get it to hook up, probably gonna be a tire smoking squirrely ride!

I call light vehicles with too much power "portable tire smokers"

Don't need no wheelie bars, let those hides smoke, it's all about the
show.

Along with some extra power that BBC puts almost extra 100# on the front axle over a SBC.

Motor and transmission look about centered on the wheelbase, might not be as bad as you think, you Even got fuel, battery, driver, rollcage and body over the rear wheels.

Got the seat cushions back. They are covered with Carhart material. Bolted the seats in the car and put an out of date seat belt in for street use. Replaced a leaking brake line. The 850 Holley carb had a mismanufactured fitting in the fuel line that leaked like crazy. I swapped a 750 Holley with a simpler fuel line just to get it running. Cranked it over to get oil pressure. None. But there was a puddle of break in oil under the car. Shut the garage lights off and went in the house.

Where in the world did you find outdated belts?

Let me guess, you're missing an oil galley plug.

Well, at least the seats look good. Good luck on the oil slick, maybe itís something simple like a gauge fitting.
