I have seen the original car up close in the Field Museum in Chicago. I stared at it for about an hour.
I love the fact that it was built in his parents garage and they had to cut down one of the neighbors shrubs to get it out of the shop due to it's turn radius.[ddd
The Beach Boys did a great song about the car and Criag.
As I recall. After he set the record his then wife got into it and set the womans land speed record.
