I have always love these first gen Chevelles, and yours is right on the money. Thing must be a handful at full song.

Really nice job on it Tracy.:)

One bad ass riceburner KILLER.............

I actually had one of those turbo Neons try to race me one night.
I didn't even down shift. He had me to pull over at the Exxon and told me his car ran low 12's, and wanted to know what mine ran. I never told him I was sandbaggin' when he assumed the 396 badges were factory.

Of course though, if this guy would have been up on "true" American engines, he would have spotted the thick flanged intake. Which gives away the fact that it's a tall deck engine.

The look on his face was priceless as I raised the hood for him to see all that stock looking orange and black.;)

He He he :D. Good story.

I doubt there's too many young people today that could visually identify a tall deck BBC. Yours is pretty stealth though.

I move around at night like a ninja.....except I keep tripping over crap in the shadows...........

May I use that as my signature? that had me laughin so hard.
