Default 1959 Pontiac El Catalina

I didn't want to muck up dmw's thread any further, so I posted here...

No photoshop needed! Pontiac built a few prototypes and one survived!

I have seen a couple Chevy Elcos that some one put a Poncho front sheet metal on. Always looks great.
A lot like what you show DR, but with a Chevy butt.

I really like the Pontiac version! It's classy, and would have run danged well, too.

I'll bet a pumpkin pie, that's a Canadian Pontiac front end.

Canadian Pontiacs from '58 - '72 were built on the Chevrolet platform.... so, a Canadian Pontiac front end will literally bolt on to the Biscayne, Bel Air, Impala and obviously, the El Camino.

American Pontiacs are wider and longer than full size Chevrolets... so, major surgery is required to achieve the El Pontrolet.

Yep. That is a beauty! So much more detail to the Pontiacs - especially the rear.
