WOW!!!

that thing is awesome...... interior is way cool and fits the car perfectly....nice job man...nice job..... :D[cl

just getting started on my Studebaker roadster pick up project... so this caught my eye...

what a strange looking car that is... almost looks like they grafted 2 front ends together ( the back window gives me that air plane windshield feeling ), & the long trunk looks like it could be the front of the car...

... as both a Nash & Studebaker owner I love quirky vehicals, & yours looks awesome... nice find...

BTW... digging the ol Swamper wearing 4 X 4 Chevy in the back ground as well

Hey thanks guys.:)

Some wheels and tires, maybe a better steering wheel and drive the wheels off it..:D Looks good
It definitely needs wheels and tires. The steering wheel is something that might be hard for me to come up with. They aren't just laying around at the junkyards, and the Shrock brothers want $500 for a replacement. I don't know yet what else might fit. All I know is that they changed splines in '56.

Sometimes when I get in I accidentally face the wrong direction and kick my feet out looking for rudder pedals. ;)

I wasn't looking for any particular car when I found this one. It was lucky for me because I like to do everything a little differently, and with a Studebaker that isn't hard to achieve.

I have a thread for the Chevy too.

:eek:100th post!

She's gone. Off to greener pastures in Maryland. A guy is going to restore it for his dad who owned one as his first car. He says he'll send me pictures when it's done. I'll be sure to post them when I get em.

jack stands ?

I don't trust jack stands or ramps. I lived in California for a while and the earthquakes knocked two cars over. I now always take a tree stump underneath with me It has a big smilley face

Earthquakes are something I have honestly never considered. I have a project in the back yard that's been up on jack stands for close to 3 years now. I trust em.
The stump is a really good idea though.
