Recently sold at Barrett-Jackson for a lousy $275K. I would have thought $1M or more, especially among people with that kind of money to spend on a historic collector's piece. :confused:

Really low price, I just watched two one hour shows on flying cars on the Smithsonian channel yesterday.

On a related note... the lunatic Paul Moller is from Fruitvale BC. (I can't make this stuff up!)

If you're not familiar with Moller, he invented the Supertrapp muffler and sold the successful company to concentrate on his stupid flying car! I've seen a documentary film about him... eccentric is putting it mildly... he was working hard on longevity/preservation/fountain of youth BS, hoping he'll live long enough to realize his dream. :rolleyes:

I think he's been on a steady diet of wild BC mushrooms since 1988...
