It is a '29. It's from a Fordor body that was built by Murray. They are similar to a '30-31 design, but slightly different. Look close. ;)

The best style truck cab of the era. I wanted really badly one but settled for a 1938 Dodge cab.

What's is going for?

They are asking $5500, bob.
Here are the rest of the pics from the ad.
It appears to be in fairly decent shape.

Looks like it's in pretty good shape and the gauges are in good shape.

Ha ha ha shows how little I know about the Fords in that 29, 30 era.
Thanks for the info

Yup. I see people trying to correct people and say they're 30-31's all the time.

Here's a picture of my Murray body Model A that I thought was a '30, but maybe wasn't.
And Torchie, for you here's some pics of a '34 Dodge Brothers pick-up. You'll notice that the grille is a little bit different between a pick-up and a big truck.

Yep, it's a '28-29 Murray. The easiest giveaway is the fuel tank. On a Ford-built Model A the tank is actually the cowl top. The Murray Fordor body actually mounted the Ford tank underneath the exterior sheet metal.

Other then the rear window it's a clean start on a nice custom build.

Always wary of a chopped car without glass in it - there's usually a reason.

Also they're saying it's on a S-10 chassis - Nope. It does have a later GM clip, but it's rear steer - not S-10. The rest is quite obviously the stock Chevy "hat" frame. Not that it's a bad thing, much better than a S-10 hack job actually. But still, seems like they're trying anything to pass off someone else's headache. Especially if it's been sitting that long...

Back when I saw it for sale the first time I talked with the owner. He said that it was sub framed with a Nova front clip I think. No mention of a S-10 at all. He said the guy that built it was a old timer that had “ lots of experience.” Dont they all.
We talked about the rear window and he said it was designed to fit some sort of off the shelf RV window and seal.
I’m not worried about the glass. It’s a legit 2 door hard top. JMHO but not all I finished chops are stopped due to glass issues. Usually just that amount of work needed causes custom
Projects to fall by the way side. I saw pics of the inside of the roof before and the chop was well done. Theses cars have a 3 piece rear window and the corner piece of glass is what makes them tricky to chop. This builder just eliminated that issue.
Had I the money the first time it was for sale I would have bought it. Had I the money now I would go and make the guy a offer.
Just the chop alone would cost some one about $3000
Again. JMHO
