The 28 sedan I'm building has the hair pin style with a clevis on the front, has anyone had any problem with these? I know there will be a certain amount of binding going over uneven roads, the 2 clevis on the front just don't look that stout to me. I'll have a iron headed BBC in it so just wondering if I should look into something a little heavier duty. It has a 6 in drop tube axle.

Been running that exact same axle/hairpin setup under a '34 Ford truck with a 460 Ford in it for over 12 years, and it gets the eyeballs beat out of it on a regular basis - No issues whatsoever. The clevises aren't load bearing and have no torsional load. They're fine...

Like BED said, not load bearing.
I use these on everything I build and have had zero issues. My 33 Pontiac has a 401 Buick nailhead in it which is pretty heavy.
