Skull suggested we send Willowbilly3's family a sympathy card!

Great Idea when one of my adult children died the local hot rod club -of which I am not a member - sent me a card . It meant a lot 2 me .

    Rat Rod of the Day!

Really dig gin this one , headlight location , those other small lights , great travel on the shocks all helping to set off that chrome grill shell . And those running lights never ever have seen that set up before . This one really floats my boat for sure Went back for a second look, twin...

    Suicide front axle height?

With 4 1/2" of clearance you are probably getting close to your scrub line clearance , I am sure you know that but the OP might not know about SL

Do not see any safety railings so might be before hard hats and OSHA The one vertical pc of Iron looks like it has rivets .There is what looks like a stiff leg derrick off to the right . ruff ride

I had all of this and my ride still was not what I wanted . Went on the HAMB and searched Billstein Shocks , there is a guy on there who sells them and has a lot to say about how much shocks affect ones ride . Yes they are expensive , but I bit the bullet and bought a pair . Difference between...

    Locating motor to cab

When placing a non stock engine trans / in a vehicle , the space available can be limited . However , when building your own frame , you control the amount of space available . Never could understand how guys who built their own frame and were in control of the needed space wound up with problems .

Now that's what I call "laying frame". Super sweet rod .

    Tubular axle

A really respected rod builder , who posts on this and other sites once said " there are some parts you make and some you buy ".
  14. I

    wheel size

All things being equal the 14's will give you a 1/2 " front rake and will hardly be noticeable . I run used tires on my hotrods = cheap and I never put enough miles on to justify the price of new ones .
