My first build...a '36 Chevy pickup

Bamamav - the 302 is a 1970 model and currently set up for an automatic. I have it in storage, covered and on an engine stand in the corner...for now. I have been busy lately getting some parts (pictures to follow). I acquired a 1931 Model A frame that I have since traded for a 1940 Ford Coupe...

My first build...a '36 Chevy pickup

Well, I ended up getting a better deal on some engines so I am switching up the power plant for my '36. I now have a Ford 289 with a 3-speed manual that runs, a Ford 302 out of a Mercury that runs, and another 302 block and heads. That I will probably use for mock up. I got the whole bunch for...

Recommendations for a 4-speed to go with my Buick 225?

I have a '66 Buick 225 and I was wondering if anyone might have an opinion on a 4-speed trans that will go well with my engine? Any and all recommendations are appreciated. Thanks. :)

Not sure what transmission this is...

My first build...a '36 Chevy pickup

Once I have some progress made on it, I will post some pics and give a detailed update. I love all the other builds...

My first build...a '36 Chevy pickup

Here is the project I will be picking up this upcoming weekend. I decided to get a project after my wife decided she wanted to leave and take our newborn baby girl with her. I am thinking of calling it either Split Decision or Mulligan. I have acquired a 1966 Buick 225 V6, some 16 inch steel...

Not sure what transmission this is...

Looking on the Novak site, the trans has some resemblance to an SM420. Thoughts? http://www.novak-adapt.com/knowledge/sm420.htm

Not sure what transmission this is...

I am trying to figure out what this transmission is and if it can be mated up to a Buick 225 Dauntless V6 that I have acquired for a '36 Chevy pickup. Any help would be appreciated. Also, any recommendations for a 4-speed to mate up to the 225 if this one won't work?
