Did you fix the leak on the tranny?there are 2 seals in the shifter area one around the kick down shaft and the other in the case where the sifter comes threw.some flites don't use a kick down if they have a manual valve body. but on a stock 727 no kick down will kill the tranny in short order.
You could make a pair look around for a set of 14 inch wide wheel shells, speedway sells them and then find centers in the style you like that way you can make them the offset you want. The wheels on this truck are made from 4 different vehicles 3/4 ton dodge ,dodge Dakota centers for the rear...
Ya i see what you mean. Some guys have been using the early dodge dakota front suspension in heaver cars they have rack and pinion steering and 5x4.5 bolt pattern.

Thanks , the frame doesn't take to long to build once you figure out what you want. A good way to do that is to go buy some 2x4's and cut and screw them together to get the style frame you want then transfer the design to steel .2x4 "s are a lot cheaper than steel and easier to work with.
O i see the part you have ordered should get you into the range where you can fine tune it with trans speedo gears. I had the speedo in a 1985 mustang re calibrated from 85 mph to 180 mph,so i guess it wouldn't be a problem to re calibrate your to read kilometers.
yes my frame is 1/8 the frame under most older vehicles is about 1/8 and only has one side that is where the strength is in a tube. i have a 14 inch kick up in my frame.look at http://youtu.be/FTchC8LabTs it shows how the frame looks.
Sorry i though you were using a sord ford trans .most transmissions have changeable gears to compensate for gear ratio changes.if you are using a chevy trans speedo gears are available.
