    SAFETY FIRST FELLA'S !!!GRAFFIC PICTURES!!!

I used to have access to a stationary electric hack saw, but after my father-in-law passed away my brother-in-law has been selling off all of his stuff. I realize that you cannot always get the part in the right position for cutting with one of those, but it sure was nice to be able to cut stuff...

If you have an outside clean-out, it would run out there. Maybe not a bad idea for some situations. Also, the hot air from the A/C might evaporate at least some of the water. Another Hyvac guy told me it wasn't a good idea, but when we got central air installed in our house, they just drilled...

    Favorite junkyard air conditioner?

Interested in what you find. I saved the rear unit out of the 93 Chrysler Town & Country I scrapped out, but later had to ditch it, due to storage space issues. Never tried it out.... (Only saved the heater core.)

    News about Torchie

It's hard to believe that it's been nearly a year and a half now since Torchie passed away. Sure do miss his posts.

The pedestrians in that video remind me of Brazil. Cross at your own peril.

    Junk parts everywhere...

Antique tractor repair shops? I'm in the middle of the largest Amish community in the States, and I know of a number of machine shops that repair old engines, especially the old hit & miss engines. I saw one huge hit & miss engine at one of these shops a year or so back - so big it was one...

For Sale 48 Plymouth business coupe looks like an old dirt track car)

Seeing the pictures, I would have just thought it was a first series 49 P15. (I have a 2-door sedan P15 that is a 49.)

Did you build it? If so, just wondering if the unused original parts are still around, or long gone. (I have a 46 Sedan, and I'm missing the shift lever and some other parts of the steering column. Also missing the hand brake mechanism - the part that mounts on the left kick panel.)

So while you wait for parts what do you do???

No one has said it yet - "Honey-Do" projects.... There are also plenty of those waiting to be done. ("I'll do it - You don't have to remind me every Spring." I hope I'm not that bad....)

Minimum brake caliper clearance to wheels?

Running 17" alloys on winter tires (Blizzaks - at my wife's insistence - it's "her car" anyway) on our 2019 Honda CR-V that came with 18s. I wanted steel wheels for the winter set, but apparently this model didn't have an option for steelies, and I couldn't find any after-market wheels that...

just got this will make a nice rat rod

My first plea would be to "un-Christine" it. That movie is the worst thing that ever happened to a Plymouth. (Just my opinion, of course. They don't ALL have to be RED!)

When I was a kid back in Oklahoma, we often saw houses going down the road. Always had a guy riding on top, with a pole to push up the power lines. But I don't think I ever saw a two story one going through. Common house style was 'ranch' (single level). You want to leave room over the top...

    LED Tail Lights

Speaking of the thick glass lenses used in the older vehicles, could thinner plastic lenses stand up to the heat from the bulb, or was that not a factor in using glass instead of plastic, and why so thick? Then the deal about having a proper reflector. My 46 Plymouth just pokes the tail...

    How's your weather????

I bought a used snow blower a few years back - 50 bucks. Possibly the most well-spent $50.00 ever - since it seems to have kept the snow away ever since....

    Unhappy People

We had the weekly baths in a galvanized tub, as you said, but in the kitchen. The rest of the time it hung on a hook on the outside of the house. Outhouse out back. Running water at the kitchen sink. Flip the switch under the sink for the cistern pump. All of our water was either caught off...

    Title ?

Long time ago (1980), but I bought my 46 Plymouth w/o a title. First attempt (1981) I used the SN plus the tag that was on the car when I got it. In Oklahoma the tag belongs to the vehicle, not to the owner (as it is here in Ohio, at least now). Turned out the tag was from a completely...

    Hi, my name is brian

We own two 2019 vehicles, a Ram Classic (4th Gen), and a Honda CR-V. So I am on discussion forums for those vehicles, and almost everything that gets discussed there is a computer related issue. And yeah, it's all very complicated. I've been tempted to make comments on those sites about that...

    Doodle Bug to Roadster…

Doodlebugs. My dad talked about one that a local farmer had (in western Oklahoma). They had connected a second transmission behind the first one, only reversed. That gave them (if I'm not confusing myself, with what little I can remember of it) some really low range gearing, in both forward...
