    yes, we have the carrier for the 3.73s - we got it from a guy who updated his rear end on his gmc dually pickup (and he also works at Randy's Ring and Pinion, so he verified it is what we need). I think maybe he put posi in his? I can't remember, I was just excited to find the carrier locally...

    yes, rubber on the mounts for sure. I do think a headache rack/cab guard is the way to go if we don't mount to the cab. Brian is worried about the drone caused by the exhaust. He drives a newer Western Star for work - and even the new trucks are noisy inside. He gets a brand new WS to drive...

    we found on our Diamond T frame that the rivets were tapered. We had to grind the side with the bigger head off, then they would come out.

    I have folded long steel in half a time or two to avoid the cutting cost too and 10' will fit inside the Suburban and on the roof rack of my Outback, hahaha. I call the Outback my truck because that thing can haul a lot for how little it is! The new 'chin' looks great!

    1965 Fargo 100

    hopefully you just strained your pericardium and this is a one-time event. I can attest to those ambulances being so uncomfortable. Imagine it on a backboard (I got that ride when rear-ended a half-dozen years ago or so - ended up with whiplash that lasted 3 years). Get better soon! [;)

    where did you find those earthman? I am assuming they are reproductions? I would like to get some myself! No project in mind, but they would be nice to have on hand!
