    so i have a question fellas, i have a 50 shoebox, and i just read the aerostar coil replacement up frt which gives you about 2.5-3'' of drop. ive never worked on a 50's suspension but which way would be the easiest to unbolt the a arm to get the coil out, under the king pin spindle that castle...

    Thanks RPope, thats exactly what i was thinking, i just changed the oil today to VR1, it seemed to smoke a bit less, it might have been like donsrods said, the PO must have been running thinner stuff. i'll do as you said and post here after a while.... thanks all for the input. we shall see...

    LOL unless he took it all apart and resealed it and repained the whole block?! [S i did a compression ck and they all lie between 90-95 psi...it just smokes like a som-bish!!! i mean i guess i can live with a little bit of smoke but id rather not..lol
