Is there any way to do that without solid mounting the engine to the chassis? ....how do you minimize vibrations without rubber motor mounts?

Instead of putting my big motor in a firetruck, I think it would be fun to build a minimal body like the single seater for it. The trick would figuring out how to hide a frame that could support a 3,000 lbs of engine and transmission.

This motor is assbackwards from most. The intake ports are on the bottom and the exhaust port are on top.
oh even better! A double row of 18" stacks pointed straight up! that would horrify the general public

Fellow rodder building a 50's Ford PU with a Viper motor, ( calling it the 'Fiper' ) built a tool box in a tailgate. Inside tailgate backs as a work bench. 2 1/2" exhaust in the bed rails.
