How long is it going to be?? That's how my drive line builder sizes them. That and horsepower. Normally 3" on my stuff.

Depending on the horse power and length. The smaller the diameter the thicker the wall too. I never use anything over 3" |

The last two have been shorties. They are 3". Gonna order one for the roadster today and I'm sure they will make a 3" again. Mine is 23" long also.
I get 'em from Driveline Specialist of Texas. About the same price as local but I trust them to not screw up or take advantage of me. |

I prefer a 3" as well, solves a lot of clearance problems too. That's what I'm using on my current build with a BB Nailhead. Had the same set up in my truck & never a problem... other than keeping tires on it!
