My build well so far....

That's about it so far, I have a donor vehicle (1994 GMC Jimmy) that I am getting the motor (4.3 liter Vortech) tranny, rear axle, and a bunch of other stuff off of for my rat. Black primer for now, going to have it powder coated when I get the motor mounts tranny mount, front perch, and rear linkage set up located.
My boss at work is a car guy he's building one too, never the less he's helping me out here and there and I'm learning as I go.

So what body are you putting on it???

I have no idea as of yet, still looking....would love an early 30's model A, but then there are loads of options and everything I really want is way out of my $4 range right now

Thanks guys! I really appreciate that, so far the frame is just over 122" long triple plated at the lower z joint, double plated at the upper z then the tube on top of that.

With that frame dimension, it looks like the wheelbase will be in older Camaro (108") territory. It should handle great.

Good looking frame. Where are you located? I got a great body for you cheap!

Just for reference, my wheel base is 18" longer than your whole frame [cl[cl

im digging the short wheel base im in the same boat. axle center to center front to rear on mine is around 102".

You're running a 140" Wheelbase DR? Must be the car back end that hides it so well, I never noticed it was so long!

dmw56, I'm in northern Indiana. I've got a grandchild on the way and my daughter has been in and out of the hospital because there is something wrong with her(granddaughter). So as of right now funds are extremely limited.
I would love to see the body and your price though.

front perch, motor mounts, still have a few holes to drill yet but well on the way.

Well since I decided to use air bags on the back I made these for the top bracket. I have to drill out the mount and inlet holes yet...

Mocked up air bags and four link brackets need to finish them off and weld them up
