Buttoned the dash up for the last time! No radio yet but I'm currently working on stuff for the big fire up on Monday! Got vacuum hoses run to power brakes & tranny & some misc other small stuff that needs to be done as well. Should power up the system on Sat & ck out what a wonderful... or... ummm... not so wonderful job I've done of getting things right! Then liquids & on the the big one! OMG... I can't wait!!! Been lookin' for a kool steering wheel but for now... this ones gonna have to do!

definitely ahooooga horn.. they just give that old school feel... I think they are fun
 
Even when you're a mature adult, it's easy to get excited about firing a new engine. A Nailhead in a hot rod truck is almost too much excitement for many. Heck, I'm excited following along on the 'puter.
 
I was sorta dreading priming the oil pump but that sucker came up in about 3 or 4 minutes... sweet! Got everything ready to go for the belated fire up in the morning. Hook the battery up, turn the motor a lil, prime the oil system a lil more... stab the dizzy & hit da ign switch!!! Have till Fri to get it roadworthy (if you can call it that) for the show Sat. I always fret when going on that 1st trip outta town & keep reminding myself! Remember Bobby Boy... you are the fool that put all this stuff together so you have no one to blame except that cat in the rear view mirror! :eek::eek::eek:
