1984 thru 1996 for the Cherokee, I've seen a write up about a guy using one for his salt lake car, there's 3 issues about using these. 1. they are heavy!! 2. they are coil spring mounted- so you'll have ta make your own pads. [;) 3. they are heavy! ( I thought about making one for my gasser project)

Not sure about 1952 Chevy 4400 series but I believe most 1/2 to 1 1/2 tons shared cabs

Here's what we went from & to. I ended high dense foam to the back,since Volkswagen springs suck! I used fishing line to hold it in place while I slipped to cover over the frame work.

I used a factory cover out of a late 80's/early 90's Chevy van rear seat to redo ours,very easy & looks real good! I don't have em on my work computer :mad: but i could post em later.

Yeah, the stock frame was junked-part of the reason I got it so cheap [/I] I thought there was one, but couldn't find it in the searches.:confused:

As some of you guys & gals know I saved a 55 F600 cab & fenders, what frame other than stock would fit under it? I repeat I do not have the stock frame! S10's around are kinda hard to find (mostly 4x4's), so I'm looking for ideas for a replacement frame. I don't have the room to make my own...

Here's this weeks save (I now converted the scrapper![cl ) I talked him into trying to sell the old cars/truck first then take them to an auction down the road-:D he's selling them for $225 a ton! all have been sold in the last 2 days! I bought the 55 Ford truck for.........$250! well at least...

reversing rims has been done since the early days,I'm gonna do that with these, they have a real nice taper on the back side. What style rims are you looking to reverse?

Paper is easier & cheaper,I used regular cardboard when I made my motor mounts so I could take a razor blade & cut 1/2 way through & fold it.then transfer it to the 1/4' plate.

Ya gotta really really check those tires,If they haven't been stored in a cool dry place you could have a bad mishap (old tires don't age well),& they have new drugs to help with the Blue Peter :eek: what bolt pattern do ya need?{5 x 5-1/2?} there a few companies that sell hoops,tell us more...
