    I am thinking two of those 1/2 inch in/out pumps should work well. One return low near the engine and pumping into the engine/. and one nearer the radiator feeding into the radiator.

    This sort of pump will work for heater hose diameter.. I was thinking radiator sized fittings that would take a radiator dismeter type hose clamped to it.

    I am planning a Rat rod pickup. Lets say the radiator is mounted in the bed with an electric fan. The rig is powered by a inline six chevy. I wonder if the water pump will circulate the coolant good enough or is a remote pump required? Also I wonder if there is a good 12 volt coolant pump that...

    Smaller engine rat rods??

    I like the idea of a smaller engine. Just purchased a Chevy inline six with a three speed manual trans off Craigslist for a hundred bucks. Sorta lookin for a old International or other big truck cab for to make a rat rod. I think the six will be suitable to fry the tires!!!

    Just bought a 1976 chevy inline six with three speed saginaw bolted onto it for a hundred bucks!! I cant lose on this one; I figure the trans alone is worth what I paid for the package. This is the first piece I buy for a rat rod. Im planning a truck. mid 30's maybe up to early 50's...
