Fenders One of my initial plans for this build was to do a front to rear fender swap. Headlights will be replaced with 57 ford tailights. Fender skirts will be made using the old louvered inner fenders from the 41. I'm really happy with it. Hope to get fender mounts complete and running...

Buttoning up Lots of welding to go, but everything fitting to my eye's satisfaction.

Yep. I'm thinking it will work. Used the axle shafts from the original truck for my radius rods.

More progress on chop Got the front section of the cab tacked in place. Fitting nicely.

Haircut time for the 41 Got lucky and only have to split the cab one way. In my mind, the quality of metal used in the cab of this pre-war truck is substantially better than my 47 Ford. Thoughts on that??

Little more progress on 41. Saving my $$ for bags to replace the blocks. Should have cab chopped and put back together by next weekend.

Wanted to share a couple of pics since adding some lettering and the hood cowl, (made from left over fender metal as was the visor).

Sorry, meant to say bolt holes. They are spaced around the rear edge of body behind seats. Does not have roll up windows. Thanks for any advice.
