    Help brake issues

Also, brake fluid rating can cause problems. What DOT rating is the fluid your using, #3, #4, #5? Some brake hoses and rubber parts are rated for DOT 3 only. When exposed to DOT 5 these parts deteriorate quickly and fail. If the pressure can only be relieved by cracking the bleeders then I would...

    Help brake issues

Whew, this description brings back bad memories. If the rubber brake lines aren't new, replace them. A common problem is the collapse of the liner in the rubber lines,, they will pass fluid to the wheels and hold pressure on the cylinder or caliper. The lines dont have to be very old and even...

    My 1967 White TD9500

Its on the road! I got the tags on March 17th and, although there are a couple of bugs to work out, its fantastic to be driving the old girl. When the air is down and she's cold in the morning she smokes like I'm foggin' for skeeters but after its warm and the cylinders start firing regularly...

And the dash and floor with the finished shifter and valves. The lower valve works the deep reduction while the upper valve is the normal high/low. I'm not sure what to use for a shift knob, I've got one from a race car but I can't find it! I couldn't find room for a speedo but I do have a tach...

    My 1967 White TD9500

I've got some new pics. Lets try this size and see if its better. These pics are of the clutch linkage, note the fab'ed arm on the clutch release pivot, tried three yards for a factory piece that would work with no luck. Thats 1.500 dia .250 wall DOM 1.25 long and 5/16 plate, the bolt keys on a...

    My 1967 White TD9500

I'm really not that good at typing, LOL. The driveshaft and radiator are two of just a few things that I have to farm out. I've been real lucky too develop strong relationships with outside suppliers (30 years with the driveshaft guys) that I can count on for quality products to bolt or weld on...

    My 1967 White TD9500

I've been hard at it puttin' the roller together and the chassis is done except for the driveshaft, which is being welded as I type, and its time to post more pics. The body is mounted for the last time and the pics are at ride height. I was worried that a 100 gallon tank might be too big but it...

1936 chevy low cab build 1.5T

Corpo, With the tie rod in front of the axle, whats happening with the ackerman angle? I tried to go front steer because of link bracket interferance but got an ackerman angle nightmare? The tires pointed at each other at full turn stop instead of apart.

    Tubing Benders???

I've been using a JD2 for about 5 years and added the air-over-hyd assist after about a year. They offer square tube dies as well as round, makes it more versatile. I also use Bend-Tech Pro 3D stand alone software to design my projects. http://www.2020softwaresolutions.com/prod04.htm Check...

    Setting up triangulated 4-bar

A set of aluminum pucks machined for the factory link mounts to pick up a pair of rod ends might be a good start. Then you avoid welding on the center casting.
