How does water get in Rocker panels?

Sure do That and most other internal undercoatings flake off and then they plug the drain holes. Thats the advantage I see in the Gap Filler. It expands and sticks even to rusty metal although I still think its best to try to precoat with Rustoleum primer.

How does water get in Rocker panels?

I think the issue of attracting water depends upon if its closed cell or open cell foam. Gap filler is closed cell. I have done this to about 10 vehicles and it worked way better than expected. The japanese unibody racers do this to add rigidity to the body and the kids with the rediculous...

How does water get in Rocker panels?

I have been filling rocker panels and door pillars and even rusty doors with Big Gap Filler. I clean the areas and blow them out and then paint as much of the surface as I can with that heavy duty extra rusty Rustoleum Primer and then fill them with Big Gap filler. The stuff bonds very tightly...

    how is this done?

Berry Camshaft service is still open but its pretty much down to a one man shop doing tractor pull camshafts. Joel is a great guy but we all know the place will never be the same without Scott and his Dad who started the business in the 1950's. There are so few outside the box thinkers left in...

    how is this done?

Haven't checked in here in a long time. The person that made the 2 cycle SBC died and the guy that owned it after he died also died. Scott Berry, the guy that made the Camshaft for RVS FLO also died. It is so sad when these talented individuals pass.

Berry Cam is up and running again Been while since I checked in to see how this thread was doing. My good friend Scott Berry is back at work. This guy is as tough as the camshafts he grinds. I just can't believe he lost a kidney,a lung and beat brain cancer and hes back at work. There are...

I sent some really interesting pictures to Tex and I hope he gets time to put them up. Never have understood why some pictures come up full screen and others have to be enlarged. So you guys feel free to upgrade the visuals/links I send.

    how is this done?

I didn't get that engine but I came across another one thats equally as far out. How about a SBC that was converted to 2 cycle and I do mean with ports. I have pictures and contact information for the owner. The guy that built it died before he ever got it running. Why do all these talented...

Heres an interesting way to easily verify supressed inventions or inventions before their time. Go to Google and click on "MORE" and scroll down to patents. Even has an advanced feature search that lets you search by name, subject year or what ever. You can see drawings and everything plus...

    Keeping it cool

Doom Got to give you big points on novelty with your rig. Would love to see some pictures of the tunnel details. Now my worst situation is coming up to a stop sign when you get what I call the Hot Soak. That means you have to disipate the heat from say the last minute of travel. Be...

Same thing can be said for variable valve timing technology. There were at least a half dozen cars that were intake valve throttled before 1910
