    looks good! i checked out your link, you do good work! ive been practicing quite a bit and starting to get a little better. just got a new airbrush too, trying to get good enough to do work for other people.

    a little more progress Got to work on the driver side frame rail a little bit. I got the back half all tacked together now and just need to square it up with the rest of the frame rail and weld it up. the last pic is of just me holding it so that's why its crooked.

    yeah i have thought about going that route cause it will sit so low. just need to find a good deal on the airbag set up.

    yes sir it sure is...haha. I want the ride height to be about 4 inches and the wheel base right now is at 135 inches.

    rolled the axle in place to mock up the wheel base and get some type of measurements for the frame. let me know what you think.

    Just a few pics of what i've been able to work on. i have the rear axle mocked up as well and will post some pics to get some opinions on wheel base.

    So I havent made much progress, life has been crazy lately. But i did manage to set the cab on the frame to start mocking things up. I also found my engine... a 12v cummins diesel [cl i just have drive out to wyoming to get it.

    Im in centerview Missouri. Yeah im beginning to learn that thanks. I have some other ones im working on right now but they aren't done yet. I've just started to teach myself how to airbrush.

    thanks agdeuce and tim... im sure i didnt do everything the "right way" but its my first chop so it was a learning experience. i had to look for a cab that was this solid for a long time, everything over here in missouri is so rusted that its held together by rat poop and weeds. once i finish...

    yeah that's why i decided to lay the posts back, i didn't want to risk warping the roof. all i got left to do is some leading over the welds and its done :D

    picked up my rear axle yesterday. A guy from work had a wrecked 3/4 ton chevy truck so he hooked me up with this 14 bolt rear end.

    got a little bit done today, was able to get the back of the cab tacked together so i could remove the clamps. I still need to do a little more work on the A pillars. here are some pics for ya.

    forgot to give an update of the work i did on the truck last weekend. i was able to get the A pilars cut and i got everything lined up. I got everything tacked together. hoping to get the roof all welded up this weekend. :)

    im also now faced with the decision of either laying the A pilars back or sectioning the roof, dont really know which route i want to go now. funny how you have a plan then when you start you question everything you had already planned.

    started the chop, i marked out two different chops a 5" and a 3". i started with the 3" chop and now i need some advise, im on the fence on chopping another inch or two out, what do you think?

    yeah i think the perch is weak as well, that was one of the things i was going to change, i dont like the spring set up either i dont know why the guy i got it from did it that way. ill post some more pics tonight.

The guy i bought it from had partially built up a frame for it but i am going to have to change what he did for what i want to do.
